I guess Iris is still a little ticked at Griff, huh?
You think Jolee is cute? Enjoy it, Iris is now on the pill. The next Grace Laurince you ain't.
Ratna continues to surprise me by be a loving family man. Aside from the whole stealing Ivan's women thing.
(FYI: Ratna has no inappropriate options for his teen step-granddaughters, either. He's the non-Laurinciest Laurince ever!)
Aw, it looks like Jacen's become a third wheel. Mr. Note has a friend. Seriously, though, all Jacen does is paint there.
Like father, like daughter.
Iris attempts to find some way to occupy her time, with her children growing older and my ban on new offspring firmly in place.
I'm surprised she doesn't obsess a little more over munchkin here.
Potty training? Boring!
Well, okay, I'd find this sort of teaching more interesting, too.
The triplets return home from school!
Jaina!
Jacen!
...Jadzia.
Definitely the quintessential Pleasure sim...as opposed to her brother, who comes home from school with a full fun bar.
Though I'm worried about her health in that getup. I doubt lace gloves are going to protect you from the cold.
Jaina wants to make lots of money, so she gets an after-school job. In a law office. Seems appropriate for someone so straight-laced.
For some reason, Jacen ALWAYS has homework. Hmm...maybe that also explains the fact his fun bar is full after school. XP
Sorry, Pamela. You don't do it for him.
The crystal ball tosses him the Laurince frat bicycle Jenna, known for hooking up with Flint, Farrah, Hannah, and probably other people that I've forgotten.
Well sure, it's about time for Ratna to steal the next generation's girlfriends, isn't it?
She is amused by his shyness, but she is kinda amused by everything.
He gives her a calculating look as she laughs overloud at one of his jokes. Iris is all blank smiles and APPROVAL, though.
Jacen does get a first kiss out of all that, at least.
Hannah? Doesn't do much else but work, snuggle Jolee, and occasionally bang her husband. Ah, the waning years of the romance sim.
A Jolee's-eye view of Jacen.
NOT SO GOOD LOOKING CLOSE-UP, IS HE?
Oh well, it's nice for him to pay her attention. He needs another hobby besides painting, anyway.
There's something emo-ly poetic about standing next to snow falling on swings!
I feel guilty for loving Jadzia too much, because, if I do eventually have a Gen 10 heir, I've had ALREADY THREE FEMALE HEIRS in a row. I don't want it to be four. Dammit.
Jaina looks painfully aware that the business suit makes her look hippy, but she does it all for the money. She works hard for the money, so you better treat her right. Yep.
Uh oh, Jadz.
Great, he's going to go massacre in a Sith rage now!
Jaina reminds me of Flint a bit. Though she's nowhere near maxing her skills out.
Bicycle Jenna left Jacen some parting gifts.
She must have a sixth sense about this sort of thing.
You wouldn't look so smug if you were still wearing that incongruent skin!
Man, Ratna and Hannah shouldn't let that little Griff problem come between them.
...what?
I've been thinking of adding something to my favorite. Giant hat, perhaps?
Fabulous!
I guess Hannah didn't change Griff's tendencies completely.
Iris, dear, she's more than a faithful pet, that's your child.
It appears to be a relatively simple device compared to some of the other stuff I have you guys use, Jaina. Maybe this is why Jadzia has way more skill points than you?
...Jaina is gorgeous, though. I love the triplets. All of them!
You know...there's a time and place for everything. I doubt grinding your son-in-law in front of your grandchildren in the living room...is that time or place, Hanners.
Jaina. They're making out right behind me, aren't they?
Uh-huh.
We understand each other well.
So far, the bathtub gene is strong in Griff's offspring. Only one who hasn't done this yet is prim little Jaina.
And it's time for Jolee's birthday! Hannah's strangely-timeframed cousin Hilde is here for the festivities.
You know, you guys are rich, I doubt that you all need to keep wearing the same sweater and raggedy jeans as kids.
Since all the kids got black hair and that's kinda boring, I made sure a couple of them ended up with Griff's hair texture, as well. I think Jolee's facial structure is a lot like Jaina's, but the skins make a load of difference. All the other kids have a Pixie skin, so that's an interesting difference.
I toss Jolee up in the girls' room, though I have a feeling they're rebelling against the pink wallpaper by being tomboyish.
Saturday morning cartoons have gotten really unentertaining, I guess?
I send the girls out on the town to look for men. They seem pleased at the thought.
...and we haven't seen Darla since Eliza died, so she drops instantly into aspiration failure. Oh...and I suppose Grace dying might add into this sort of thing.
I especially love the close-up on Jadzia's eye there.
This is the only available guy there who isn't an official Laurince.
...you may or may not remember this guy. His name is Greg and he was Flint's father.
And while his genes didn't carry on into the legacy proper...it feels weirder to reuse him because Flint was actually an heir. Oh well, teen fling!
They go to the skating rink after HOOPLA was a bust, and learn they can't ice skate.
Jadzia, however, learns she can sing, and I realize I deleted the wallpaper I originally used on this lot. Well, that's on my list of things to fix!
Sorry, Gala. I forgot I had already given you that outfit when I dressed up your cousin.
I make Jacen channel his obsession into something slightly more useful. I think Hannah's a distinctive elder.
Wow, we haven't seen Julian at all this update hardly. Well, he's a bit boring. And creepily intense. So a lot like his father.
Jolee enjoys fishing, and probably won't ever be exaggerating with her fish stories. Since this one is half her size.
I really, really want to find out what he gets up to when he's at school. Constantly coming home with work to do and a giant grin plastered to his face.
Apparently, Griff's bathtub playing is too strong an urge for even the most sensible of his children to deny.
Jacen's taken to propositioning walk-bys?
I could totally punch your clock, baby!
I decide to have a huge fortune teller orgy party, because I'm curious if money can beat out the terrible prospects of the crystal ball.
She's pretty enough, despite having the same hairdo as his sister. And her name is Cherry.
Jacen apparently shares some of his father's favorite discussion topics. Jadzia looks way too hopeful at the outcome of her bribe.
Oh boy. One of the London boys. Their mother? Fawn Laurince. Far removed enough, I suppose. Bleh.
The adorable look of Jaina's date dead-on belies the horror of his profile. Sort of like how that flower on his shirt belies the center, which appears to be the Pilsbury Dough Boy screaming in agony as he's devoured by flames.
Cherry. You're hot. Congrats!
...uh...thanks?
It never stops.
Gary, I believe, meets Jadzia's mother. And looks oddly real in this shot.
Iris, you would approve of anything, wouldn't you?
I suppose we can't expect much sense from the girl who was banging the maid since she was 14 or so, can we?
Gary and Jadzia's actions were very, very easy. They've got at least two bolts, though you can't see bolts between a teen and someone older.
I'm torn.
They're three bolters. I don't get these very often, since I let everyone have whatever random turn-ons they age up with.
I know what you're thinking, Jadzia!
Yeah? It's not like we're first cousins or something.
Maybe Jacen's finally realizing it might be more FUN to work at school so he can play at home?
Julian brings a friend home from school with him, and I have a plan!
Alone again. With Mr. Note.
Esther has had a sudden growth spurt!
...it's Julian's birthday, too? What a coincidence.
The vest has got to go. Julian rolled Popularity, and I have to admit that I forgot to even look at his LTW.
I fell for Julian here.
Do I like Esther? No shit! She's hot!
I'm really trying to figure out if he differs from his father in anything but skintone and eye color. I like him, but I'm loathe to let anyone without the current heir's traits be the next heir. (See: Ferris and how he was out of the running before lulz.)
Iris was being useless, so I finally got her a job. In education. Seemed fitting, and I didn't have the reward yet.
Ouch. Rejected by Cherry for a flirt AND in front of his sister, too!
He tries to hit on one of his mom's work friends, but the woman is not amused. Of course, if I had lips like that and had left the house in makeup like that, I'd be angry at the world, too!
I met a wonderful guy using the gypsy's magic crystal ball! You should try it, too, Esther!
Uh oh, I see wheels churning in Jacen's head. I aged her up for Julian!
Oh honey, you'll be acting out what you're having the dolls doing soon enough. Just look at your siblings.
Esther looks a little depressed. She's a cutie, but despite earlier posturing and attempts, neither Julian nor Jacen really clicked with her. Yet.
Cherry finally broke under all of Jacen's pressure and they're getting snuggly. Is it only teen love?
After all, this was only teen love, too.
So.... I'm going to play the Hensons next, and then hopefully we'll be doing one more (UNI FILLED) Laurince update. It will be the end for awhile, definitely. It may be the end for good, update-wise. I don't want anyone to be terribly surprised if it is. :P
I finally broke down and installed OfB. I haven't done anything with it yet. I started building a mayor's mansion in Manhattenton, intending to test out the building shit from the EP, but the only thing I used was a new set of stairs. Yeah. It'll definitely begin to be integrated into that hood, if nothing else.
I made some paintings from parodies of famous paintings with Sesame Street characters. Check out the entry previous to this one, if you're interested. They were made with the Hensons in mind, but they are still hilarious!
