I love love love sci-fi AU, and this one really intrigued me. Other people have commented that they'd like to see more and I totally agree with that but this story as is makes me damn happy anyway. Oh, Niou.

After so many years, it was easier to just keep on running than to go back or to keep looking at the sky from the safe comfort of the ground.
