( Chapter One)
When Tegoshi and Massu returned to the church, Lady Tegoshi let out a sigh in relief.
"There you are, Yuya! Where in the world have you been?"
Before Tegoshi replied to his worried mother, Massu decided to intervene. "He ran off into the woods, ma'am. I believe he must of been sad because his father isn't here anymore..."
Lady Tegoshi smiled. "Well, as long as your safe, that's what really matters. Thank you for bringing him back, Masuda-kun."
Massu smiled. "It was nothing. Well I better get going so," Massu turned to his friend and waved. "See you tomorrow at school, Tegoshi."
"Y-Yeah..." Tegoshi softly replied.
Massu bowed to Lady Tegoshi. "I'm very sorry about your husband's death, ma'am. Good night."
Lady Tegoshi nodded. "Make sure you get home safely, Masuda-kun."
"Yes ma'am."
The next morning came and Tegoshi found his mother and a mysterious man at the dining room table. The man was extremely handsome and had shiny, black, soft hair. His eyes were dark brown and his skin seemed very smooth. Tegoshi flinched. "M-Mother...who is this person...?"
Lady Tegoshi smiled. "Yuya, I would like you to meet your new stepfather, Nishikido Ryo."
"S-Stepfather!? What's that supposed to mean!?" Tegoshi was in major shock.
"Actually I met your father through Ryo so I've known him for a while. Now he's the king of a kingdom not too far from here. He was at the funeral yesterday, don't you remember?"
Tegoshi shook his head.
"Well, yesterday he asked me for his hand in marriage so I said yes and we'll be moving into his castle. Understand, Yuya?"
Ryo smiled and walked up to Tegoshi. "Nice to meet you, Yuya-kun. I hope we'll get along with each other." Ryo extended a hand.
Tegoshi shook it back, but made no eye-contact with him. "Y-Yeah..." From the moment Tegoshi saw Ryo, he hated him with a passion. Nobody can replace my father! Nobody! Especially this creepy man...!
A week later, Tegoshi and his mother moved into Ryo's castle. It was seriously huge! About three times larger then their old castle to be exact. It could fit about one hundred peasants in Ryo's kingdom!
As Tegoshi explored around the castle, he placed his luggage in the empty room Ryo offered and continued his little adventure. Tegoshi then stopped what to be his stepfather's room. He was amazed when he look inside. But then, a long mirror decorated with priceless jewels in the corner caught his eye. Tegoshi walked closer to the mirror. He reached up his hand to touch it until...
"What the hell do you think you're doing, you idiot?! That's my magic mirror!!" A voice roared across the room. It was definitely Ryo. He stomped into the room and slapped Tegoshi's hand that was nearing the so-called "magic mirror".
"Magic...mirror...?" Tegoshi questioned.
"Yeah, I just said that. What are you, deaf?"
Ignoring Ryo's rudeness, Tegoshi continued. "Why do you have a magic mirror in the first place?"
Ryo flipped his hair back. "To make it tell how gorgeous and sexy I am, duh!"
Tegoshi's jaw went agape. "W-WHAT!?"
"Step aside." Tegoshi did as he was told.
Ryo smirked in front of the mirror. "Oh, mirror, who's the most gorgeous and sexiest person in the kingdom?"
The reflection of the magic mirror started to sparkle. "Why that would be you, Nishikido Ryo-sama..." The mirror replied back.
Ryo turned back to Tegoshi. "See? Amazing, isn't it?"
Tegoshi was indeed amazed, yet freaked out at the same time. But then, his eyes widened. Wait a second. My mother married an...an...extremely vain narcist!?
Whoa!! Looks like things took a change for Tego! What will happen next? Only I know! xDDD;;
