Keep in mind that the manga was translated by not the greatest of translators...

Also, Hirano attempts to put German and English and what not in his books when he doesn't speak a word of either and doesn't understand the concept of grammar. His books are notoriously hard to translate correctly.

For instance, Schrodinger at one point says, "Mioen." Which is supposed to be German. However, that translates into "To meow." So Schro is literally saying, "To meow!"

Hirano....has issues. Even his japanese can be hard to translate as he apparently uses a VERY formal version and often will use words that are either out dated or have no literal translation.

...Lmao, that moron. XD Why would he do that!? That's not helpful at all! And yeah, I kept seeing little notes that say like.. "I know this isn't real German, but my dictionary was unhelpful and there were no German people in the chan!"

so instead of like, waiting until tomorrow, he just invents German-sounding words. >\
