Damn ... HBO knocked this one out of the park. First episode just ended and I cannot wait for the next one. Some highlights:

• Sean Bean. Seriously, he is Ned Stark.
• The general look of the show.
• The chick playing Daenerys is hot. And naked. And naked hot.
• The look of the dead dire wolf in the beginning. They'll need to CG the wolves in season 2.
• The way

I liked it... alot, but I agree, if I didn't already know who the characters were and their relation to each other - I would be lost.

And Daenerys - agree she is totally hot.

Can't wait to see more of the wolves - they are so central to the books, and we didn't see much of them tonight - only Bran's wolf.

I intentionally got HBO for this sole purpose. Apart from GoT, there's frankly not much on this channel that really appeals to me. The movies are all pretty blah (which tracks with my general opinion about most things coming from Hollywood these days), and I'm pretty disinterested in their other series so ... I'm paying however much I'm paying for HBO because of a single show.

Totally worth the money. :P
