interesting. i like it. i like your style, and the tone. and, well, since i'm in DC I can tell you that it is oppressively hot here much of the middle third of the year!

Thanks! That means a lot coming from someone whose writing I admire so much. And yeah, it's weeks like this past one that make me want to move to Canada. It is not supposed to be this friggin hot in May.

yeah... where you at? i live in nova but work in dc. i've been in the yard a couple times and was like, "I'm gonna die of heatstroke, arent I?".... sigh.

It's sort of endearingly awful. I don't hate it nearly as much as Jane does. :)

It definitely grows on you and I have some really fun memories of working there. I always loved taking the elevators up and then crossing over to the other side of the building to continue the journey. Good times.

Yup, I live out in Leesburg but I work on the Hill.

Always get a kick out of reading stuff that has some local flavor and yours looks like it's gonna be a hell of a ride :)
