Ragnelle has brought home a stray.

Rather, Ragnelle has brought home a very small (once and) future king. He currently sits at the kitchen table at the Orkney cottage, elbows up and little legs dangling.

"What shall we eat?" he asks idly, taking in everything there is to take in.

Ragnelle is still gleeing over her teeny prize, and she looks down at him brightly. "Should like a sweet, sir?" You can tell the sir isn't for real, a little teasing.

Lynet happens through, her arms filled with a basket of clean laundry. Seeing the strange (yet somehow curiously familiar) boy at the kitchen table, she quirks an eyebrow, not particularly surprised (strays do have a way of turning up here) but curious all the same.

"And who are you, master hungry?"

He does not quite giggle at the nickname, but he does laugh a delighted, childish laugh.

"Arthur, lady," he tells her, somewhat shy.

...well! That explains the odd familiarity. She laughs, too, the sound startled out of her. "Truly? Then it is little wonder you are hungry. From all I have heard, ruling a kingdom must be tiring work." She sets her basket of laundry down by the hearth. "What should you like to eat?"

"Truly," with the solemnity of a child who is laughing. Though he does pause at the statement about ruling, choosing to ignore it in favour of food (who could blame him?). "What would you I have?"
