I keep reading where people believe Arizona's behavior was OOC in how she treated Avery. But personally, I don't think it was. I think she was trying to get him to stand up for what HE felt was the correct course of action. I think that's also why she kept calling him "Gunther", to assert himself. She's done that with most of the residents she works with. Remember she famously fought with Bailey over that bowel kid who needed the transplant to the point Bailey went to the Chief? Alex and the kid with the horrible father who thought he was faking? Alex and April over the girl with no cheekbones? She's constantly battling wills with Alex and he stands up to her and fights for what he thinks is right. And almost always, as soon as he does, she backs off and says "good job". I think she was wanting to pull some of that same fight out of Jackson. Instead, he constantly rolled over. It seemed to me like alot of what she was saying she was saying as a parent rather than a physician. I know peds is different from the other specialties but to

We got a scene of April bonding with Callie over Chief Resident stuff. Now I want one with Arizona and one with Bailey. April's already asked for Bailey's advice, but it didn't help much because Bailey has got a much stronger personality than April. April should go to Arizona - they have similar personalities and Arizona, I'm assuming, was actually successful in her chief residency. Arizona could teach April a trick or two.
