A couple Interviews with Jessica, similar content in both but thought I'd still post both!
I'm getting excited to see her back! And to meet this new love interest!

Some people seem so bitter and...sarcastic and just downright rude about Arizona getting a love interest but I for one think it's awesome! Callie got her happy ending and I'm glad she's gone as horrible as that may sound because now Arizona's all fresh and new to a point..there's nothing holding her back, she doesn't have to feel guilty, she can actually finally once and for all move on. And she deserves this so I'm super excited!!!

Under no illusion that she'll be front and center for the season but as long as she gets a decent SL and they don't start it and forget it then I'll be happy and it sounds like we are going to meet this love interest sooner rather than later!

I find it interesting that Sara really didn't tell anyone she was leaving the show until after the finale was filmed.

I am kinda shocked with how cavalier (might not be the right word) Jessica is when she talks about Arizona giving up her child. Like bicoastal parenting is no big deal.

Also sound like we won't see Arizona get a love interest till at least mid season.

Did we read the same interviews Lol?
She said we would be meeting her new love interest soon didn't she?
And I don't think she sounded casual about Sofia and she didn't give her up, like she said, she made a decision a selfless one to make both Callie and Sofia happy and for her she's still talking and seeing Sofia and Sofia's visiting and their relationship is still healthy.

As a parent myself to me it's a big deal, I'd never do such a thing and I was gutted when she let Callie take Sofia it really peeved me off because in a way it diminished everything she has fought for but that's Shonda for you, always has to give Callie the leg up instead of Arizona but I guess we are supposed to assume she will be living with Arizona full time 'next year'.

You could be right, I was thinking within the next few episode, If Shonda wants us to root for them then we need time to get used to them and see what there is to root for but who knows!

Yes all 3 interviews are similar but the tones are different and I fully agree about your assessment re Arizona and Sofia and what it all means. As I said before I was really disappointed and hurt because in a way it did feel like she was just giving Sofia away to Callie after all she's fought for and the representation of the non biological parent who is a Lesbian....it's a big deal so for her to just be like here, take Sofia and we'll take a year about felt yes a little callous but that's on Shonda and we as Arizona fans have to I guess just believe she loves Sofia and will still visit and parent and maybe next Season Sofia back in Seattle for the year like they discussed

I know it probably won't happen but I would love Sasha Alexander to join the cast, even better if it was as a love interest. They're already friends so the chemistry wouldn't be an issue lol

Jessica and her talents are grossly misused. I dont think they will give us alot of depth with her new love interest. But as long as we can get enough for us to root for them and get to know a little about this lady and why shes good for her.

Personally the only people that deserves arizonas friendship and loyalty is richard and deluca

Im confused about the whole thing. 1 I agree with funky that if they are wanting us to root for arizona and the new love interest we do need to see her sooner rather than later. We need to get to know her and see what it is arizona will find attractive about her and why we will root for them

Yeah that's something that has bothered me as well. To have everyone go through that experience of testifying in court and all seemed convoluted to have Arizona turn around and let Callie take Sofia. Doesn't seem like something Arizona would do, but on the other hand, it is just like her to just bite her tongue and ultimately try to do the right thing by her child, which to her is have both moms happy. Whether that makes her happy in the long run I guess we'll never really know. That SL seems like something we'll just have to let go of and write it off as another one of Shonda's plots that kind of fizzled in the end

Agreed with everything . The question is will we get to see arizonas sl properly play out or will we get snippets here and there while she plays in the background.

Jessica really hit the ground running, didn't she? I wasn't expecting any interviews from her and there are 3 all of a sudden, lol.

I'm glad that the main theme of the interviews is clean slate and fresh start. It's about time and we have definitely waited long enough to see her in a (hopefully) healthy, happy relationship.

Seems like we'll see her as a doctor more, and I'm definitely all for it.

I guess there's some speculation about Bridget Regan possibly being Arizona's new love interest because she just tweeted about shooting GA the same time these interviews came out. Ep 6 seems about right to introduce the love interest. I watched Bridget Regan on The Last Ship and she was pretty badass on it, so it's interesting to see her on GA. Even more so if she's paired with Arizona.

She certainly has, I always find though when she does interviews she's so....diplomatic and really toes the line so to speak which of course I understand she has too. There are people complaining about her comment about Callie having chemistry with Penny and it being a lovely relationship and I said to them, well she's hardly going to bag her co-stars and her boss Lol but she always does seem a little too...diplomatic with her interviews. Anyway she seems excited and ready for a fresh start like you said and that is awesome! I can't wait!

I don't know who Bridget Regan is at all but I googled her just to take a look, she looks like a bad ass in some of her stuff and is super attractive, would make a good looking couple Lol. She said soon so hopefully it is her!
