Hello to new and old members!
Now that season 13 is underway, and with Arizona's return next episode, this community has started to grow. So I wanted to say hello and welcome to all our members - old and new! It's great to have you here. :)
I thought I would take the opportunity to explain how the community works. Take some time to look through the community to see what we get up to here.
Episode discussion belongs in the episode discussion thread. Remember to post the episode title in your subject heading so that we know which episode you're talking about. We don't have separate posts for each episode, as we're a small group. (Here's the season 12 episode discussion post if you want to see how it works.)

I want to reiterate a few ground rules as this community will be lightly monitored (as mods are now gone/less involved in the LJ community) which means I need you to make this a comfortable and safe place for conversation. I have summarised the kind of place I want this community to be and I hope it is taken in the spirit intended.
Here are the community rules. Read them.
Treat others as you want to be treated. Respect each other. Be kind.
Watch your tone - words come across differently when they're written down than when they are spoken. Re-read your comment before you press "post".
Remember that not everyone may share your opinion - and that's ok, it makes the discussion more interesting when you have two different points of view. Don't dismiss someone else's opinion just because they don't agree with you. Get into a (polite) debate about it. Use examples to back up your opinion. Be open-minded. I've had my opinion swayed because of discussions about a storyline.
It's ok to agree to disagree.
Constructive criticism of a character is ok. Characters on Greys are flawed and it's ok to point out when they're acting badly or out of character. This includes Arizona, she's not perfect. So I encourage you not to be too sensitive if someone says something negative about her. Take a step back, look at that poster's reasons for their opinion and debate it. See my comments above.
Character bashing is not ok. If all you want to do is say how awful you think Arizona (or Callie or any other character) is, this is not the place for you. I will not tolerate people who are solely here to cause trouble or upset others.
New members are welcome! Community settings are currently set to moderated membership, which means I have to approve new members. I don't really want to do this, but I have done so only for the purpose of excluding those who create journals to join a community to cause trouble. I've seen it happen and will not allow it to happen here.
This community welcomes all ship pairings. Still rooting for Arizona to end up with Callie? You're not alone! Seen a spark between Arizona and Amelia? I want to hear about that! Do not judge others for their feelings towards a particular ship, whether they love it or hate.
