And she says ‘you know Susan (Sarandon)’ and I think, ‘Oh right … from Thelma and Louise … that’s only an iconic movie moment’. And I ask her: ‘So how am I doing?’

I want to know Geena's answer to this, lol!

I know right?! I said to Shannon earlier was that it? Sounded like there was supposed to be more lol. Arizona and Herman drunk is going to be awesome sauce! Possibly be the scene of them on the Grass?

Yeah, I kept going over the article to see if there was a second page, haha. It just ended abruptly.

Ooh, yes! I like the grass scene being the one where they're drunk.

Very weird piece but I love the tidbit about her and Herman being drunk together. Anything that gets Arizona talking. It does feel like it will be the scene in the grass.

Two thoughts on Arizona getting drunk with Herman.

1) watching the two of them having a rriendly drunk is infinitely better than watching Callie getting drunk and checking out potential ONS/dates.
2) I think it telling that Arizona's friendship with herman seems more solid than any of Callie's. I wonder if that's deliberate. It appears that Arizona is moving on/finding herself and Callie is floundering.

Callie getting drunk with Meredith in ep 5 were fantastic scenes. I still feel like the split pickle is a sign of how they will heal separately to reunite stronger.

I know it's an unpopular friendship but the Callie/Owen friendship seems pretty solid. I haven't minded it as it's good for Callie to hear about real belonging--even when it's hard and messy--and being honest instead of using games.

I'm not against the Callie/Owen friendship as long as it stays that way which it seems it will as there's Owen and Amelia although I do think Owen who is a serial cheater isn't the best person to get advice from and I find it odd that Callie doesn't think about the fact that Owen cheated twice yet she still thinks he's fantastic.

The split pickle thing - I have no idea what you are talking about Lol

Callie demonstrated the surgery solution with the pickle at the bar. lol The metaphor of separating it into halves, removing the damage, then healing together over time works if a person is optimistic for Calzona's future.
