Hello, newb aboard. I call myself the drowned, or TD for some lazy fellas. I used to watch Space Cases a million years ago, and still occasionally have marathons or little reminisces over stuff like Zabagabe and Andromedan jokes---I mean, REALLY GREAT HEARING ( Read more... )

Welcome and Zabagabe!

In the Space Cases bible (what creators write as a guide), it does say that: "While pursuing a space pirate named REAVER, Goddard knowingly crossed stellar borders into non-I.N.S. territory." Your theory does hold up to that. I like the idea of Reaver sneaking across the border as a tourist or something. In a Hawaiian shirt. XD But probably not in that big ship with the skull'n'bones on it.

I happen to have a personal theory that involve those doppelgangers mentioned in "Trouble With Doubles", but it's not totally developed yet. ^_^

Ahh, how interesting! That must have been where I came up with the idea, then. Haha. I do remember that site and the bible.

Oh? A theory on the dopplegangers? I'd love to hear what you have so far! I mean, unless you'd rather not, of course. I really like theories and ideas, especially when they're of things that are otherwise left a mystery. XD

I want to think that there was a whole debacle that involved the doppelgangers (the two of them, his "evil triplets") and how he might not have actually been the one to chase Reaver into space. There would be a whole great scenario where it was actually one or both Doppelgangers that chased Reaver and that the real Goddard was put under blame. Being that doppelgangers aren't so common, the people that captured Goddard didn't believe him and what else could he do about it?

But the problem with that is I'm not sure if I want Commander Goddard to be innocent. And the whole doppelganger thing came after the series bible, so it wouldn't have been meant that way. I'm really torn on the guilty/not guilty thing. It's up to the creators, I suppose!

Yaaay, More Casers! Welcome! :D Interesting theory. I usually don't put my own theories under speculation very much because at the age I came up with them, I was fairly retarded, and when I think back on them I realize that no- no that's not how that worked at all. XD But theories are always fun! :D Thanks for sharing!

Holy crap, your icons are awesome! I feel you on the not sharing the "lol i am 8 nao" theories; I was a little curious whether people here would go "psssh what a dumb theory!" when I posted this one. XD Cool to make your acquaintance!
