[Be wary of the arcanine roaming nearby. Her movements are stiff, and she's rumbling a deep, abrasive growl. She's roaming the little town, looking crossly at the buildings, and taking in the scent.]

Where are the humans?

[Because buildings means humans.]

She could probably swallow him whole... archeopsryuzaki December 17 2011, 17:39:11 UTC
Somehow the dinosaur of one foot tall has no problems standing beside you at the moment.

Or maybe he does and is just hiding it. "There aren't any," he says dryly. "Just more animal things. New here?"

"Yea. Burn, flame, broil..." He frowns. "I'm saying fire-types mean 'fire' power. Of course..." He crosses his wings a moment such a human action..!. "They're also saying I'm 'rock-flying'... And that rock is strong against fire..."

A grin. "Heh. Maybe not as torchable as I thought!" Ryuzaki that is not a word.

"Yea yea laugh it up and pick on the flightless rock..." Well someone's bitter. "It might not feel like rain now, but if I were you I'd at least find a cave for when it does... Just what do you have against these tents anyway?"

Probably not the best question.

I have no use for humans or anything they have to offer. If you were once human, you know have your chance to become one with nature.

"Bah! I could do that at home by camping..." Eh.

"And if it wasn't for the fact that the last 'camping trip' I was at involved going to an island devoid of anything but poisonous mushrooms, I probably would have enjoyed sleeping under the stars more. I didn't run the risk of literally burning in the rain then."

[A snort of disgust.]

I have no use for any creature that thinks like a human.

I do wonder what Moro's reaction to 'garden' type woods would be. :I archeopsryuzaki December 20 2011, 07:51:23 UTC
"So sorry that I used to be one," he responds dryly. "And it's called common sense!" he continues with a nod. "Rain hurts now- avoid it..! And think of it this way... You were a wolf; how'd you like it if you were on a great wooded island that had, literally, nothing but poisonous mushrooms and trees? Kinda takes the good part of life out of things when you don't have food." Please, how could you have a forest without-

[Moro snarls, leaning in and baring her teeth to him.]

I would not be in such a place. Such a place has no use for me. I would be in the forest where I was needed, protecting my fellow gods and devouring humans that cut my trees!

Somehow I doubt Ryuzaki's method would go over well. :Ia archeopsryuzaki December 20 2011, 17:45:50 UTC
"Then we agree. It's a stupid island, and I'm never going back there again." Huff! He'll just pretend you didn't say God, and that he's not scared shitless.

"I'll take my river back home any day. If you looked hard enough, you could find fossils on the shore." What the heck are you talking about Ryuzaki, what. "...Don't suppose you know what fossils are do you..?"

Probably shouldn't have told him that.

"Fossils are imprints of long dead animals and plants, formed by the pressure of multiple layers of earth; typically in the case of large things, such as dinosaurs or ancient mammals, there's nothing but a skeleton left behind. But in the case of some things, like plants, or shelled animals, you have an impression of the entire object..! It's really interesting; with fossils, you can see what sorts of things lived in the millions of years before humans and most other animals, and how they evolved into what they are now..!" Oh god you found one of his ramble points...

"I bet you didn't know... That all wolves can have their ancestry traced back to something called 'Eucyon davisi'..! That's over ten million years ago..!!" ... And...

Something that likely appeals to you... "...That's farther back than any human remains found at least..." Though he's not about to give you the fact that everything back then was ridiculously small. That would be silly.

nyeheh wonder where Moro's freakish lineage comes from biteoffherhead December 20 2011, 21:00:55 UTC
[Blah blah blah things she doesn't understand. But she vaguely understands the idea of ancestry and bones. Tracing ancestry with bones...?]

You humans fixate on such strange things.

"It's better than just destroying them isn't it? Most fossils found are treated with as much care as possible," he continues. "You might find it weird, but lots of humans where I'm from are curious about history, and learning from it..!"

Though... "I guess we're pretty weird though, yea... Coming up with the stuff we do..." Don't mention extinction don't mention extinction...
