[Even the spiny thing?
The spiny thing which has maneuvered his way to the top of Outlook Hill and is now craning its neck to get a look at that poster. With his legs as short as they are, he's had more trouble with running into things than with tripping and falling all over the place. He hopes his horn doesn't get stuck in something when it happens again...]
...So even the inhabitants of this place are newcomers. I suppose we don't stand out as much as we would otherwise...
With moving around properly? Yes. [He finally manages to get up again, only to overbalance and land on his back. Ow ow owww his spine and his tail owwww]
I've never seen anything quite like these before, and my world is full of monsters. [He practices walking around a bit, growing steadier with each step.]
...this may be the longest tag I've ever writtengrapecapeNovember 14 2011, 20:15:51 UTC
All right. I don't know how much of this you already know, but what I know for certain is that this world - which is an entirely separate world from those which we "new arrivals" come from - is inhabited entirely by many species of monsters collectively called Pokemon. We were transformed into Pokemon upon arrival to this world, for unknown reasons. Many of the otherworlders here know one another, but between those from different worlds, the only thing in common is that they came into contact with a badge like this immediately before being brought here.
[Ondorus has been keeping the badge wedged between his ear and his horn, and he flaps his ears to dislodge the piece of metal. It falls to the ground, where Jade can see it.]I talked to a bird named Honchkrow, who is native to this world, and he told me that these badges are carried by explorers here and allow them to quickly escape from danger. They seem to be rather exclusive and difficult for civilians to obtain, so he was rather suprised that I had simply found one, even before

it's very...impressive. /clapsindigaytionNovember 15 2011, 11:42:10 UTC
[Jade listens carefully, nodding every so often.]
You're quite resourceful. [And quite good at explaining things! Maybe he's found himself a new person to shove off all the pesky 'explain things' task to.]
This is quite fascinating, although it doesn't explain how the badge managed to spread to so many worlds. Still, it's the best lead we have currently. Do you know if there's a way to reverse the effects of this enchantment?
Of Retornen? Not to reverse it, no - to leave one's world of origin, one would have to find a gate, which typically occur at points of Rune imbalances. But like I've said, I don't want to jump to conclusions. This world may not even have Rune, as strange as that seems to me, without which the whole idea falls apart. The cause and method of our transportation and transformation may be something that none of us have ever heard of.
...Considering that we've been turned into creatures we're entirely unfamiliar with, that's probably the case.
Yes, the possibility of something other than this Retornen is quite high, considering that this whole situation doesn't seem to be especially connected to your world. But if you've spoken with the natives and even they have no idea as to why and how we've been transported here, then we may have to prepare ourselves for staying.

[Nope, denied. Jade trips and falls flat on his face right in front of Mr Spiny. Owwwww.]
[This is the most undignified position Jade has been in awhile, and he's not liking it one bit.]

Are you all right?

[Jade struggles to get back to his feet, unaccustomed to his short arms and the weight of his head.]

I assume you're having the same problem...?

Do you have any idea as to why we're here?

The 'why' is even harder to explain than the 'how'. I can think of some possibilities for that, at least...
