so, i'm in photoshop, working on blue screen of death type illustrations for a business card, installing various windows/dos fixedsys-like fonts, and something sublime and wonderful happens. keep in mind that photoshop, like, never crashes, ever. now that i have seen the raw face of irony, i will crawl back into bed.

haha, link, kernel panic, geek, irony, picture

That is disturbing and hilarious :D

Also, I think you have the most tags of anyone I've ever seen, INCLUDING the comic fangirls who have seperate tags for every character they've ever mentioned. Skillz.

i do have a lot of tags, it's true.

i need to make my default layout show the tags that get used more in bigger font sizes; right now they're not differentiated enough, so I have to figure out how to coax that out of the CSS in the style (ahh, the benefits of a paid account). I just haven't bothered with that yet.

Oh that reminds me, you might know - do you have any idea how to customize my LJ layout, specifically to change colors and/or make the entry space wider? Or do you know how to make them from scratch if you're a girl of only slightly-above-average computer fluency? :)

well, the thing about the layout you're using is that it's not quite as easily customizable as some of the older styles, the reason being that a lot of the prettiness is done with images and such, so it would require a lot of hardcore editing. The width might be easier to manage; it's likely just a setting somewhere in the style definition, but I haven't gotten off my duffer and looked yet. You have a paid account?

I am indeed paid. I'm open to trying other layouts or making my own, I just picked that one cause it's got a plane and whatnot. Seemed appropriate. And it had visible tags and icons on each entry, which my old layout didn't.

understood. i picked mine for the same reasons (i liked the birds and the wires and the visible tags). I'll try to look at it if i get some time.
