HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

And yes, you need a gig on these new machines. 512 is unusable on a shared vivampire video system. It gives you (after the exchange rate) about 400mb for system stuff, which is painful on a mac. My core duo Mini often feels slower than my 400mhz g4 machine because of this.
