blogging in "ink" using tablet pcs seems to be gaining momentum with some people. the majority of them seem to be using tablet pcs, though i found this intriguing post from a imac owner using boot camp to install the tablet pc os. it's a bit of a kludge though; using a graphics tablet hooked up to a mac running boot camp to dual-boot to windows ( Read more... )

You have me tempted to start doing something like this with actual ink and a scanner... It loses the immediacy of it somewhat, but being a pen nerd, a tablet just wouldn't feel right.

apparently many tablet digitizing surfaces feel like pen-on-paper? i haven't verified this though, just what i've heard.

Hi there! Silver from INKINESS here, thanks for the mention! I can say first-hand being a a pen-nerd myself that writing on a ditigizer screen feels perfectly natural. In fact there's less stress on the hand as you don't have to press at all to write, unlike pens. And most of the inking software these days are pressure sensitive too, so you get life-like inking only digitally! ;)
