um, guh, want. want bad. i'm the most scatterbrained person ever, i'm always writing notes to remember things and then forgetting where i put said notes, i have a paper calendar but can't carry it all the time. this would Rock. how durable does it seem to be (as in, will i kill it the first time i knock it against something?) and does the stylus note jotting function work well?

i'm just going on what i've read in reviews as it hasn't arrived yet, but as i understand it the screen is recessed a bit, so unlike some things with screens (my old digital camera grr) it won't scratch up the screen if you knock it against a door jam. it has rechargable batteries that need to be charged every night or every other night; however that's not such a big deal, so does my cell phone... i'll just plug em in at night before i go to sleep. also it has flash ram so most settings aren't lost even if the battery dies. it has usb to sync and ir to beam and is compatible with most current-ish windows and mac versions.

as for writing, i don't know how useful the stylus will be. i might use a normal stylus with a small tip, or perhaps my fingernail if that works well enough. it uses jot (the successor to graffiti). it has an onscreen keyboard, but i can't see myself ever using that... if the screen is an inch wide how do they expect you to use a keyboard on it ( ... )
