My current plan for the weekend involves Philadelphia in the afternoon on Saturday, but that's plenty close by car to East Brunswick so I'll look into a) the initial plan changing, and b) the fun that can be had at Dexcon. When would you be planning on leaving? I don't have spare vacation days to spend on leaving before end of work Friday, but might have a bit of flexibility to figure things out with.
I'll be leaving on Wed, but I could concievably take the bus back to NY on Friday evening, meet you back at my place on Sat. Morning along with sabbathunter, pack the gear into your cars and drive back to the hotel.
It's a cheap, 45-minute bus ride from Port Authority to the hotel. That's how I've gotten to Double Exposure events in the past.
I am going to take that Thursday off of class if I possibly can, so I should be there for the entire con, starting Wednesday night (and thus able to split room cost with you for the entirety).
Okay, I was halfway considering cancelling the reservation for Wed. night and just coming on Thurs. afternoon, but if you're availale Wed., I'll keep the reservation as is.
As for transport, the bus is fine for getting ME there, but I have several bags of props for the LARP I need to get there as well.
