This sounds like a recipe for the greatest Broadway tragedy in history.
Were Bialystock and Bloom behind this?

I don't know who's behind it, but this could be so bad as to actually be good.

I was thinking something along those lines too....
But then again, I'm overly likely to see any musical!

"So bad, it's good" works for intentionally campy pieces like Evil Dead: the Musical.

I seriously fear this will go he way of Dracula and Lestat.

I still say Dracula was good! I think in general Wildhorn is not well received by critics and that was part of the problem there. I didn't hear good things about Lestat from anyone though.

As far as musicals go though, we both liked "High Fidelity" and according to the article about it on wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Fidelity_%28musical%29)
"In his review, New York Times critic Ben Brantley said, "High Fidelity definitely deserves a place in my own catalog of Top 5 lists. That would be on the roster of All-Time Most Forgettable Musicals.""

*twitch*

Do you need an alibi for when Julie Tamor suffers a random deadly accident in the near future?

I like some of her movies, but this goes beyond the limits of reality, and we must take her out before she summons great Cthulu from sleep.

I don't know which is worse, that I knew this had to be about Spider-Man: The Musical before I even clicked the link... or that I'm wondering if I would get laughed out of the reading for being too old?
