So I saw Tenacious D in The pick of Destiny this afternoon. I loved it. But as I noted to Dennis before I saw the movie, I knew i was going to love it because I love The D. For whatever reason I just totally get their humor, and their delivery is even funnier. In that regard, this movie seemed kind of similar in a what to Jay and Silent Bob Strike

I was surprised there were no Tenacious D songs in Guitar Hero-- especially when Trogdor made it in! Tribute would be a fine addition to the songlist.

I know. Trogdor & a Spinal Tap song! Where's the love for the greatest band in the world? I mean The Pick of Destiny and The Metal are 2 songs off of the new record that would have been great in GHII.

My guess would be language. Most of the songs I've heard by Tenacious D have quite a bit of non-family language.

On a slightly different note, a few friends of mine from work do an *AWESOME* karaoke version of Tribute. They get up and are all animated and everything. Pretty fun to watch.

The movie was indeed good.

The songlist for GHII was probably solidified long before it would have been possible to add either of those songs to the list.
