Recycle looks interesting. 0_o It looks more visually stunning though than scary. Hmmm....

El orfanato is great! It's also very atmospheric and slow at times. I wasn't bored but it doesn't provide for a lot of SHOCK value. Let the Right One is a little faster paced than Orfanato and it has a really great storyline.

I'm a huuuuge fan of The Exorcist, but it seems to bore and disappoint people nowadays. Boo. Haha. I believe in the existance of demons and posession so that could be the reason why it freaks me.

Silent Hill is the equivalent of a royally fucked up haunted house. The story is a bit flimsy, but if busty zombie nurses and a bad ass Pyramid Head butcher with forearms of steel are your thing, it could be worth it! :D

I've seen all of these movies except "The Exorcist" but I'm pretty excited to watch them with friends.

"Recycle" is AMAAAAZING. It starts out like your run of the mill long-haired Asian ghost movie, but then it gets into some bizarre territory.

I tend to go for horror that leans on the building suspense vs. shock, so I was in pillow fortress territory for "El orfanato." I was really impressed with "Let the Right One In" because it was just a beautiful movie.

AND LOL SILENT HILL. I'm a HUGE fan of the video games, and while the movie does next to nothing for me the moment the plot picks up, it does score occasional points for atmospherics (music, referencing Centralia). And it doesn't skimp on the gore, surprisingly.

I'm sooo gonna rent recycle now. *stoked*

OMG I cannot sleeeeep well for days everytime I play a Silent Hill game. *wibble* I think the movie could have used a lot more of the problem solving clue finding elements of the game. And MOAR PYRAMID HEAD! XD

There's that scene where the lead is trying to memorize the map of the hospital, and I was seriously like "OH THEY BETTER BUST OUT THE KONAMI CODE." Of course they didn't. /nerd.

It is so good ;alkrsuzklfd

I think I am going to be the only one to survive, tbh. And I'll probably put "Suspiria" on after everyone else has left. LOL I suck.

IDK how that affects your abilities to watch movies on Thursday afternoon. But fucking shit, I had to turn off 2000 Maniacs the first time I tried to watch it. There just wasn't movies like that in 1964 and it really freaked me out.

I think I looked at the time wrong, I was thinking the wrong 12:30. I am also working Thursday, but maybe after work... but that wouldn't be until 6ish probably. I'll try to make it.
