Yesterday, Aang and I went on our first date. Sokka and Suki had planned on coming (I think they wanted to keep an eye on us), but something came up… and we were able to go alone. In a way, I’m glad. It was so nice to spend a day away from the palace, away from meetings and advisors and watching eyes.

I don't want to leave him.

I thought, maybe, I would be okay with it.  The separation wouldn't be permanent--I would see him again, even if it took a few years.  'Oh, that's not too bad,' I thought, 'I think we can handle it.'

Meetings are boring. I swear, I don’t know how Zuko and Aang can handle it. The men just argue and argue until they’re red in the face, and it feels like so little is getting accomplished. Aang and I talked today.  I was finally able to get the whole 'fear of kissing' off my chest... and he told me how he had been feeling.  I really like that we can still talk so easily--just like before.  And...
