THOSE ARE SO PRETTY.

What program did you use to make those? I use Photoshop CS and I can't figure out how to create the colouring effects seen in the misc. icons. I know there's gradients being used [at least I think so], but I can't find the right blending mode to get that style. Any advice?

Andd, I used Paintshop Pro 7. I usually just create a new layer, fill it with the gradient I want then set it to either Exclusion or any of the other different blending modes and play around with the Opacity a bit. Then, if the icon's a bit too light and hard to see sometimes I'll merge the layers then sharpen it.
