they never say "7th billionth human", they keep saying "person". So I assume it includes aliens and sentient robots and all sorts of whatnots as well as mutants werewolves hybrids.

Meep. The Monet reveal was a kick in the gut which I didn't see coming. It made me realise powerfully how much I love her. I see all kind of storylines unfinished for her, which make me hope it's a big hell-bound fakeout, but then, the unfinished storylines would make it a dramatic and realistic end, so... augh. So poignant.

I really loved the art in this issue. It was a bit sketchy in places, but I thought that worked. The action scenes and everybody's body language were sharp and expressive and athletic. I also really enjoy the tiny expressive faces Kirk puts into the backgrounds.

And did anyone else go 'eeeee!' at the fact that Tier was in the team roster on the intro page? Pleasepleaseplease let's have him on the team for good, and Rahne back too. I wanna see him hang out with his fake dad and weird uncle :D

And I hope Ric is going to do some damage next issue after 'Star got his arm broken. Ow.

Regarding Monet, I'm predicting (although this is just a guess; I have no idea if I'm right) that with all the Hell lords around that Guido will find a way to save her by sacrificing himself. He's shown before that he still cares about her, even with no soul, and it would be some redemption for him. I wonder if she also knows she's dying though.

Hmm...you can't fight those Hell Lords. You have to trick them. Our boys are gonna be useless for that, heh, but Layla might have a shot if she wakes up in time!

We're a couple of issues into this Hell on Earth war now and- not to reveal any spoilers- but I'm getting a little concerned about why 'Star's left arm doesn't appear to be healing ...
