One year ago today, at the age of 65, my mom danced into heaven. Goodness, I may need to carry a box of tissues with me everywhere today.

*hugs* Thank you, sweetly_beth! By the way, do you have a nickname I could call you? I was just tempted to call you sweetly. She was amazing and such an inspiration to me personally. Thank you, she was a fantastic person and one of the greatest things about her was that she never made people uncomfortable. She was the sweetest grandma in the world. She was also just slightly taller than me so she was the stereotypical little grandma with a huge heart ( ... )

She was amazing! She had a lot of bad things happen to her when she was younger so it's amazing how happy she was and how...well...inspiring also. She loved children too, so she was the one who would always call us on our birthdays and sing Happy Birthday to us. None of my other grandparents did that. They would send us money, but this grandma couldn't but it meant more to us hearing her be happy with us than getting a short note and a gift. She was really an amazing person. Thank you, it was really a tough day for my mom. It's hard to believe it's been a year.

*hugs* <3 Thank you Kira, it means a lot to me to hear that.

Awe... But you know, that adversity probably made her a better & stronger person in the end. Awe... that's awesome! My grannies are good to me like that and it really makes a difference. It doesn't matter that one lives pretty close & the other far away; both are special like that too! :D You're welcome... *huggles* Yeah...

*MORE HUGGLES* You're welcoem, Rikki!
