Last Saturday, a bunch of the gang here at Newcastle went up to the Hunter Valley to do a little wine tasting. Martin put up some pics. So I'm shamelessly linking to them :)

These pictures emphasize the point that we haven't met... and reminds me that you really are a tall skinny fellow. Either that or all the people you spend time around are really diminutive *grin*. Tall people... the only times I consider myself tall is when I am A)wearing stilts, or B)at work [circus people are tiny]. Actually come to think of it most French people are rather small as well... being both short and skinny. The feeling of being a giant comes to a quick end though when one returns to Alberta... the land of large people.

Is anyone mildly alarmed at the prospect of these two actually meeting? Can't quite put my finger on why... oh, right. It's because they're both CRAZY.

This could be all kinds of entertaining. I personally think prairie's worries are entirely biased... she simply thinks that we might cause trouble. Pish. As if she has never gone about causing trouble herself *grin*.

I remember another wine drinking in the Hunter Valley.. oh look, you guys went to the same place - I recognise that bar. I would link to your post at the time, but its embarassing for me as well. So... did you remember any of the tour second time around?

And the 'designated driver' schtick, clever, clever way to hide your biases towards intoxication after a couple :)

I was thinking the same thing.... Richo did you get any pictures of the raisin incident? or were you too busy hucking handfuls of raisins at Michael and me? I seem to remember a particularly drunken shot of all 5 of us in front of a tree - but I have no idea who's camera it was on :(

Tour.. Tour.. Oh yes! That time Zosia referred to you as a pussy! I remember that tour.

The major difference in this tour: less raisin-projectiles, more being poked by a baguette. Apart from that, pretty similar.
