She really is absurdly awesome. Though, I maintain, Mad Men is all about Peggy!

I'm really enjoying the hell out of this season. Most seasons seem to start slowly and build to a fiery crescendo. But this season's got legs right out the gate!

See, I am amused by Peggy bacause she's an ethnic Catholic from 'da Outa Buros' (The Outher Boroughs) and even from Bay Ridge (where I currently live but did not originate). I, suspect as a native New Yorker, have an extra level of appreciation because of all the references. I'vve been to teh White Horse Tavern, for example.

Although making Peggy Swedish(?) makes sense because Bay Ridge was a Scandanvian/Italian neighborhood, they are not typically Roman Catholic. I'd say it is a rare misstep on the part of the producers.

That is very cool to have that extra insight! Watching Peggy's spectacular transformation has been the best part of the show for me!
