You are so cute! I'm envious of your love of baking, except that I have no shut off switch for eating sweets, so I'm glad I'm not as in love... but seeing you find so much joy in something is envious!
Aw, thanks! :) I live with three guys who literally hoover up anything I put on the kitchen table; nothing lasts longer than 24 hours here, no matter how much I make! You just need to find hungry housemates ;)
I really do love baking though, it's so nice to have finally found something I enjoy this much. Only took me 22 years to find it haha! I've even been nerding it up reading through old cookbooks looking for tips, and trying to find out the "science" behind why things happen the way they do (for example, the difference between the functions of baking powder and baking soda, silly things like that!) - it's really useful with vegan baking when you need to know what effect removing and replacing certain ingredients will have. Another example I found out recently is that soy is an emulsifier - which is why cupcakes made with soy milk hold together soooo much better than those using the exact same recipe, only using rice milk instead. Fascinating, geeky stuff! :D
