I try to be very accepting. I try not to elbow out other peoples' preferences, even if they're, I dunno, het or obscure or just plain weird. Fandoms are big and there's lots of room. But every now and then, you just have to stop and say, "WTF? That is not a ship. How would that even-? How could you-? No."

Because - I just - no. I mean, leaving every other objection aside, I am sincerely freaked out by the idea of Steve and Carol in the same bed.
