Trade agreements + cronies = bad

via slashdot, a leak of a trade agreement proposal by the MPAA US on intellectual property law. The basic idea is to require international procedures and obligate nations to make laws for and devote law enforcement resources to making it easier for the movie and recording industry to sue people for internet piracy ( Read more... )

Well, ya know, that's the problem with letting those pinkie capitolists do whatever they want with their small government and their "freedoms"! Here in the good ole US of A we know better than to let people make money off of whatever they want or deregulate an industry so that it can go ahead and figure out it's own way of making money...

...oh, wait a second, that was supposed to be reversed....hmmm....
