I avoided getting involved in the discussion you were having in the Roundhouse the other night, but I did think a lot of valid points were made, people aren't very good at empathising about belief and often don't see the difference between faith and religion. I was brought up Catholic and am now fairly anti the Catholic church, but it doesn't mean I no longer believe in some kind of God (in fact I'm just not sure anymore, but that's a long conversation!).
There are a million good things that people do 'in the word of God' that never get in the news, or chatted about in the pub or taken the piss out of on South Park.
While that's true, I like to think that good people would do that without the 'word of God' anyway.
I don't tend to have a problem with faith in of itself (I have faith, just... a bit different), only the trappings that come with it.

While that's true, I like to think that good people would do that without the 'word of God' anyway.
