No worries. I fully understand as a dog mother. Yesterday I got on my crutches (broken ankle is still healing) hobbled down the 20 steps to the lift, then to the vets 6 steps from my block to ask if it was normal for my pup who's just come into heat for the 2nd time and is all down and feeling sorry for herself. Vet assured me was perfectly normal so I bought treats for said pup. Apparently a dog's 1st heat goes virtually unnoticed by them and everyone else.
Hope Kitty's abscess gets cured quickly. Hugs for you and the cat
