You all know that I'd been hoping to put up a few chapters over the last three weeks and I'm very disappointed that I couldn't make that happen. This was a combination of heath, stress, unexpected things happening (random head cold, broken computer- I'm lookin at you!), and grade A writer's block for how to get the next part to unfold. I've been enjoying DB and can't wait for the next part. Your characterizations have been awesome and the plot has really captivated me.

I hope you're feeling better and things are settling back down for you. After spending most of this year working through my own health issues, I know how much it can affect every other facet of your life. =}

Aww, thank you! I am always delighted by compliments to my characterizations because I struggle with them so much. I'm a little terrified of when I finally have to write Gibbs dialogue actually. I'm hoping I can hand wave away any inconsistencies with the fact that my Gibbs is an AU Gibbs. I've been having a fun/challenging time with this Tony because he's a much younger, pre-meeting Gibbs Tony, but yet, he still has to be recognizably Tony, ya know?

I am feeling better, thank you. Still feeling like I have SO MUCH to catch up with, but I'm feeling like I might actually have some energy to do it now. So that's cool. Many sympathies on your health issues, I hope you're doing well too.

LOL, on Gibbs. A writer once suggested the best way to write Gibbs is to write him and then delete 3/4 of the dialogue. *pets mute Gibbs*

Your Tony really does ring true. I think that makes a good AU a great one - when the characters, despite any differences/stressors/etc, still ring true. Yours most definitely do and as an added bonus, Kelly, Senior, etc all have definite, distinct personalities. =)

Catch up at your own pace - it can be maddening but you'll be all the better for it in the long run <3

You know the thing I wish was easier to catch up on? Medical bills. Guh. Finding all these things and who to pay and finding the $$ to pay them is like participating in a demented reverse treasure hunt.
