my mother has always said "emphasise your assets...and try to hide everything else..with lots of jewellery". but i was thinking...how do you know which is which? i mean one persons big butt is another's...big and proud of it butt.

and i have yet to be convinced anyone looks good in three quarter pants. unless your a twig.

You know which is which by whether or not yours are unusually small or large as compared to the "ideal" model, and the rest of the proportion on your figure. And being proud of it? Does not make your ass smaller. :-D Additionally, the shape of said ass matters. A lumpy ass, is a lumpy ass, no matter if you are a size 2, or 22. Me, for example, my ass is a bit square... so I don't emphasis it because that makes it look flat, and a flat ass sorta sad. But all that having been said, no one pays that much attention to your ass if you have a vibrant personality... which is something I've been trying to teach the fashion world for years.

The only decent fashion item in these pics is the footwear. Cropped trousers can look nice if fitted and not loose, with a loose shirt or tunic over them, but not as featured. Model appears to have a granny vest on as the top part too *cringes*

I completely agree. I also think that cropped pants with rolled cuffs, jeans in particular, can work because of the contrast and the fact that they don't cut into your calf.
