Color exercise

So I'm blaming this post for inspiring me to finally do this sort of art exercise thing under the cut below. Basically, if there is one thing I'm TERRIBLE at, it's color. And it's not like I haven't spent years trying. I just don't see color the way I need to. I can see light, so I can do shading in black and white, but I can't seem to do it in

I'm pretty sure I don't have your writing mojo, so to each their own talents, yes? I do the same thing, I read about how everyone does their talent process and find it so fascinating. Brains are so neat with how they work!

That looks cool, especially on his vest, where the stylization is really eye-catching! His hair looks really neat with this treatment too.
