I Suck

I know this is random, but I just had to let this out.

Because I'm an impulsive person, I often do things and regret them later. I just did one of those things now. (>w>;)

I accidentally sent a join request to a community when I didn't fulfill their requirements yet! Argh, why did I do thaaaat? I accidentally read over one of the requirements, but it ( Read more... )

Ah it's okay, it's okay, it doesn't take that long to reject a member request ^^ The friends of the person on Youtube sure are some douches, what happened is none of their concern -.-

It might not take that long to reject a member request, but it still adds to their work. So I felt bad about it. ;w;

And I agree, they were douches. >___>;

Thank you for the comforting words~. <3 *hugs*

Ah, this happened to me on LJ before. You're not the only one, no worries!

Well, in the case that you actually want to join but don't meet the requirements, the maintainers will reject your membership even without you asking anyway. Generally, if you want to join you'll have as many chances to get in, though. All you need to do is meet all the requirements.

And then there's the off-chance that you don't want to join, but accidentally clicked "join". Well, I don't think there's any problem in that either. They'll still reject you if you don't meet the requirements and if you do get accepted, then you can always leave on your own will so there's no harm done there.

I think it'd be better if you just left it. Like faithlucifel said, accepting and rejecting a member doesn't take long.

A friend-request is a different matter altogether, though, especially if it's regarding someone you've never spoke to before; they can be pretty defensive and accusatory. My hand has slipped before, too, and I accidentally added a few people on LJ -- yes, it ( ... )

Phew, I'm glad that I'm not the only one who went through this multiple times. <3 ;w;

Like I said in this post, I decided to leave an apologetic comment instead. Surprisingly though, when I checked back today, the LJ community actually accepted my join request! So... that's that, haha. \(^w^)/

Oh, with the YouTube thing, I couldn't take back my friend request for some odd reason. (I don't think they had that option.) So I had no choice but to apologize and move on. 8'D
