This is, like, the greatest thing ever!!! ::dies:: I love Hana Yori Dango! And this is live action! (And it looks way better than the Sailor Moon Live Action show...) I am just so incredibly excited to see this! (It's something new and cool to practice my Japanese on.

I will once I download it. I found a script for the first episode but it doesn't have subtitles.

Live-action Hanadan? Whoa...and y'know, that actually sounds like it would work very well. Hanadan reads like a live-action drama half the time, anyway. ^_^

I watched the first episode (which is all that is out) and it is pretty good! I'm downloading it via bittorrent that I got from this site:

I'm trying to figure out what the shows about by looking at the site, but my Japanese is really, really bad (in that way where it's nonexistant). What does 英徳学園 mean? 0.0 I keep seeing it. . . .

This is based on the manga Hana Yori Dango(aka- Boys Over Flowers, or Hanadan). The kanji is the name of the school they go to, Eitoku Gakuen. The manga ended about three years ago. The anime came out in the late '90's ('97-ish). There was also a Taiwanese drama based on it called Meteor Garden. It's a great story.

Okay, I should have been able to figure that out. ;_; *loses*

Sound pretty nifty. I'm not sure I'd be able to download it, suffering on dialup as I am, but the site is pretty. And I understand one word in ten, which is great! :D

英徳学園 is Eitoku Gakuen, or 'Eitoku Academy'. That's the name of the private school the characters attend.

It's sort of a Cinderella story set in a super rich/exclusive Japanses high school... if Cinderella was more interested in graduating and getting a job for herself and Prince Charming started out as a violent bully. It is really good though... the manga is up to vol. 14 in the U.S.
