So normally my kid sister (who's 15) and I just share the HP books. By virtue of her being younger she gets first read (even though I bought it) and I have to wait until she's asleep or finished ( Read more... )

Maybe you could explain that you have a lot of HP friends on-line and don't want to be spoilt.

I know this problem all too well..
we only have one copy in the family...and it's not even the ame household..

But...I usually get to read it first or after my mum..and she reads pretty fast *g*
usually my argument is, that I'm the fastest reader, so I get to read it first^^

But the money argument sounds good to me, too^^

anyway..I'm not gonna spoiler you, I promise :)

My flist is pretty good, so I'm not worried about any of you. But it might be hard to avoid random comms or icons. (I read that Sirius died on an icon before I read it - I was so upset!)
