100 posts in 100 days

More of my friends have a regular presence online. I don't really. I've had this account for a few years, but only post to it sporadically at best. And while I like to write, and dearly miss having a regular time to do more, I'm not sure if blogging is the way I want to do it.

But this is the year of change. So in the spirit of change, I am going to give this whole "web-log" thing an honest shake.   I don't really see this replacing my desire for traditional writing, but it should give me a taste of if I enjoy blogging, and if there is value in the practice for me.

The basic rules:
1) Post once a day, every day, for 100 days. Even if the posting is short.
2) Each post will be on only one topic. Both to make it easier to write, and more interesting to read.
3) Make an effort to be interactive and respond to comments.
4) (Post your rule here).

Post 1 of 100 in the 100 Posts in 100 Days project.
