Rhys is waiting at the meeting point he'd agreed upon with Revan. He's looking forward to seeing the Sith's reaction to the movies. It should be... interesting. Now all he needs is for the Sith to show up.

And the Sith in question has showed up, in a t-shirt and jeans, with a flight jacket to hide his tattoos. He's rarely out of some kind of Jedi robes, so he might look a little out of his element.

Still, Revan grins brightly. "Su'cuy gar, Rhys."

Which is fair. Rhys finds names with far too many oddly-pronounced consonants quite normal.

"I never quite trust those."

"Understandable. I only trust them when I was the one that built them to begin with."

"Makes sense. I'm always a little paranoid about trusting other people's spirits."

[prodigalsith]

"Because you do not know their quirks and how they will react in certain situations?" Speaking from experience.

[rhysofthenine]

"Or what their summoners have told them to do, but yes, those as well." Paranoia: fun for all concerned.

He chuckles. "I only worry about that with protocol and astromech droids. It would be kind of silly to worry about that with an assassin droid."

[rhysofthenine]

"Yes, their function would seem obvious."

[prodigalsith]

"That is probably why they are outlawed under Republic regulations." He smirks, taking a sip of scotch. "That, and those of us that use droids with that capability have gotten more creative than the old laws."

"Oh?" Rhys raises an eyebrow.

[prodigalsith]

Revan shrugs and grins. "HK-47 is not an assassin droid. He is a protocol droid, who happens to be able to handle weapons incredibly well and is surprisingly intimidating. And likes to threatens meatbags."

[rhysofthenine]

"I see." Rhys chuckles.

[prodigalsith]

Revan laughs. "The smart obey the laws. The stupid break them. The clever work inside them."

[rhysofthenine]

"Wouldn't do to be seen as anything but law-abiding."

[prodigalsith]

"Precisely. Even one who is attempting to enstate new law into the galaxy they should seem to be following the current laws. They are more credible that way."

[rhysofthenine]

"Indeed. After all, if you don't respect the law, why should anyone?"
