Did it ever occur to you to be suspicious when you day seems to have a theme? My theme for the day - maybe because it's October - is "spiders." I didn't choose the theme, it seems to have chosen me ( Read more... )

Who knew spiders were so territorial over pens? Heh!

Keep an eye on the bite and make sure it doesn't get bigger or do nastier things.

*shudder* spiders! Since I moved back to the city from the country, my life has become much less overrun with spiders. OTOH, if you want to go with your theme, you might want to check out Neil Gaiman's new novel, Anansi Boys.

You'd have fun around our house - we have spiders *everywhere* - but none that are nasty ....

And yeah I tend to have a fascination with office supply stores too...

Did you see the spider that bit you? (For ID purposes.) Do you need to worry about the brown recluse in your part of the country? (Or black widow, though they're not as dangerous as brown recluse. I think.) As K said, watch it closely. If it gets any worse, get thee to a doctor; either of those bites can be extremely dangerous.
