This weekend the spouse and I are off in yet another futile attempt to find a city in which we would a) like to live and b) be able to afford. Thus far those two desires have not coincided. Two weeks ago we looked at a small town that had twice as many gunstores as bookstores and I balked. Big time. This weekend we are off to a Northern California ( Read more... )

Okay, I work and still can't remember what day it is. Basically, because I date letters two or three days in advance because that's how long it takes my bosses to look at them. LOL!

So why the move? *is curious*

Me too. If I didn't have to take the kids to school, I would have no idea what day it is. As for the date - not a clue. ::peers at PC calendar:: Ah! that's what it is. Hm, only reason I need to know that is so I can make sure there is money in the bank come the 23rd of the month, ready to pay my rent (and I thought the 23rd was yesterday as well - explains why I am still in credit!)

Looks like we're not alone in that. It's not so bad durring the school year, but now that it's summer? I'm screwed.
