I though I would start picking a "best of the week" - and then along came this week, in which that is not possible. So much for rational objectivity. Let's be irrationally unobjective, as usual then. The theme for this week's books, so far, is: FUN. Everything I read was a ton of fun.

It's sad that I might have bought Gravity if I'd known it had an Avenger in it. These people don't know how to do covers anymore.

I believe he was only a member of the Avengers for 10 issues or less and then he went to the New Warriors -- is that enough of a hint on the ID?

Gravity isn't a bad book, it's just not a great book, and the sad thing is -- that doesn't matter, because I am so sick of the 90s revival grim'n'gritty (as written by people that don't quite get it), that I am willing to overlook the problems and slap a seal of approval on it.

Thank the comic gods for last week's Smoke from IDW and for Image comics.
