Nicieza is always one of my favourites :)
One of the ongoing jokes between a former friend and me was about Cable's story. We used to tell his very confused family tree just to piss his girlfriend off (because she couldn't understand a thing). Ah, good old times!

Jeez, I wish someone would explain Cable's history to ME. I mostly read the comic for Deadpool and ignore the Cable bits. In this issue we seem to be making fun of Age of Apocalypse, and X-Men story line, which I have never read and know none of the characters from. I don't care, Deadpool's there, plus I confess I am doing my part to support Nicieza, whom I believe to be very unloved by Marvel, since he hasn't jumped on the current "Bendis is wonderful" Marvel bandwagon - in fact, he's take a couple of potshots at Bendis and his Avengers Dissambled story-line.

Neither "Cable and Deadpool" nor "New Thunderbolts", Nicieza's current Marvel titles, are selling well (which might be, in part, because they recieve zero promotion from Marvel), and I believe he has been told he has about another year of issues to bring sales up.

Oh man, don't tell me this. I might have to blackmail my local comic-shop to get me this soon (import, you know -_-). I was still on the X-bandwagon way after Age of the Apocalypse... eh, I can explain Cable story to you, easily, I know it by memory unless they changed something really important during the last few years.
