I'm still trying to figure out how to destroy the sharpie marker that's living in my drawer, but I bet you could defeat it with a pair of scissors. Hope your hat isn't too important to you if you do, though.

Fascinating as that may be - and I do find it rather fascinating, to be quite honest - I certainly hope you've found a means of stopping it.

How would you stop a hat from attempting to eat something, I wonder? By feeding it something else, maybe? Then again, I've no idea what a hat might fancy eating - aside from, presumably, heads.
