I never believed Bill fell for the whole 'religion' thing either. I was waiting for him to say "Gotcha!" the entire season. But he never did. Guess for being around for almost 200 years he's still *that* gullible. In the books, he's a very minor character now and I don't even miss him.

Russell was the best character...and yeah, now that you mention it -- that was a silly way to go...He should have been able to resist the fairies moreso than he did.

And I love Tara so much better as a vampire...

Like I said on my LJ, I kind of hope next season is the last. I'm ready to move on, but will watch the show out of some perverse loyalty, since I've watched from day one and have read all the books. The final book is out next year, make it the final season for the show, too and just be done with it!

When Russell was staked, I thought, 'Ooooh, Rhyme is gonna be madddd.' - I figured it was inevitable, but I couldn't believe they took him out in the first minute though! He was cute with his boy toy.

Y'know, I watched that three times, and it wasn't really clear if he was staked. I though Eric was about to kill him, but he actually blew up from the pixie juice instead. I know Eric was holding the stake on him, but if he had pushed it through he would have splooshed right away.

*sigh* Well, no matter. I appreciate your sympathy, LOL. Stupid show!

Agreed, the stakings themselves this season left me confused and wondering if the vamp was really gone (Roman's ice staking was weird too). I watched Russell's scene thrice as well, because it didn't look right but I guess all that fae energy held him together longer...idontevenknow. GAH. TB is all over the place.
