What a fascinating story about a pairing that I adored...

That was beautiful,and I can very easily hear Xena saying all those things. You could see that silent push and pull in her when Lao Ma was teaching her-the desire to be like Lao Ma and pleas her warring with her dark side.
I always loved Lao Ma and wished they'd brought her character back.

You made me miss Xena with this wonderful fic. Lao Ma and Xena were always interesting together. Great missing scene.
