I like especially the scene when Kahlan breaks up with Richard. I a lot of stories you only read THAT they have broken off but not HOW. The scene is well written and Kahlan's arguments are reasonable.

Dennee's dislike? hatered? for Cara is understandable and I wonder if she will be able to tolerate Cara or if this will cause a rift between the sisters.

I love how Cara and Kahlan grew closer and closer. The moment when Kahlan said that she loved Cara (and her sister) was just wonderful.

While I admire writers who just jump in and start in with the K/C goodness, I have an itch to make it plausible within canon. I'm glad you feel it was working.

And yeah, poor Dennee. Have to think that lil' problem would've reared its head again. Friends with your sister's killer? Hey, it happens in the Midlands... ;)
