Here are some facts of my life:
  • I'm married to an artist/photographer.
  • Some of our closest friends are published authors.
  • I write technical documentation for a living.
  • Every Friday night has become Craft Night at the Compound.

So clearly you, me, and Nicole need to meet up at Bug Bash or something and have a Stitch n Bitch. I'm pretty sure we can help you. This is what I'm working on now; I'm hoping to finish it for my 2 year old niece for Christmas. :-D

I think Bug Bash is just a bit far for me. That's a lot of state lines to cross. I'm not an iron butt yet.

I could only wish to make what you're working on. It's taken me three weeks to make something somewhat straight. I think making shapes on purpose is a future goal.

I do wanna see photos of the project when it's done.

I would be hard pressed to find something "crafty" to do on Craft Night, I can't paint or sketch or sew. I can whip up a snack like nobody's business, though. Maybe I can do the catering?
